How do I generate a copyright symbol in the Titler for Elements 10 for Mac?
This has been driving me nuts for hours. Help! And Thanks!
Unfortunately, the Mac version doesn't allow for Alt codes, as the PC version does.
Try some of your Wing Dings or similar graphic fonts.
If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what to suggest. I've been a bit frustrated by not being able to make true apostrophes or quotation marks on my Mac also.
In Windows, one can use Character Map (a built-in application) to access extended ASCII characters in a font set. I can only guess that similar (whether built-in, or perhaps as an add-on) would be available for the Mac. Wish that I knew exactly what was available on the Mac.
Good luck,
Hunt
Steve,
Thank you for that info. I assumed that it was just a variation on the Alt+key (numeric keypad) for extended ASCII characters, where Character Map is a self-contained application for dealing with all characters in a font set.
Going back some years, I encountered a little, free progam, AllKeys, that sort of worked like Character Map, but with Hot-keys. However, I do not recall if it was ported only for Windows, or was X-platform. Been about six years, since I last saw it.
Now, if one has Adobe Illustrator, then its Glyphs Palette can access ALL characters in a font set. Not sure, but I think that Palette has been added to PS CS6 - need to install it, and check.
Appreciated,
Hunt
