We are now testing Facebook support in new custom viewer with web-viewer for social sharing.
I've configured Facebook app per guide prepared by Adobe
http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-suite/kb/setting-dps-app-soc ial-networking.html
As far as i can say, it's configured correctly, but...
However newly created custom viewer with support for this Facebook app will just jump to native Facebook application on iPad, than back and nothing happens. I REALY would need to find out where the problem is... Is there any way?
i've installed Facebook iOS app after our custom viewer.
With web i'm facing quite strange problem - page appears on some arabic language, even when i'm logged in to Facebook in Safari with standard czech interface.
See URL which is passed to Safari - it behaves same on my desktop Safari, so i belive that it's "feature" of URL - or my app setting.
BobB, any news?
Seems that there is some issue with Facebook support... Tried it twice with two apps, still same results.
Without facebook app on iPad i ended with arabic page (and this URL will trigger arabic page on computer as well - see previous post)
With facebook app on iPad - it will jump to facebook app, show blank "Share" sheet, after few seconds sheet disappears and original viewer app will appear.
Anyone suceeded with facebook support in new viewer builder?
I'm still asking around. I had problems setting up Facebook as well when I first starting using it for sharing. I made sure the app was authorized to interact with my Facebook account (you did that, right?), and then I wasn't able to get it to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled my Facebook app, and everything started working fine with Facebook.
