So I've tried multiple times to get Acrobat X to install from the Creative Cloud through the Application Manager and I keep getting a similar error...

This is on Windows 7 64 bit ultimate with all MS updates up to date and of course I have priveledges on this machine. I've seen similar errors before with updates to Acrobat Reader and Adobe Air apps, and also Suitcase Fusion. This is terribly frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Sounds like this KB

Or this older KB.

Yeah, I found those, but that is pretty ridiculous. There's absolutely no excuse for these kind of errors when other software manufacturers seem to be able to make installers that work fine, and I shouldn't have to hack my computer to get an installer to work.
Oddly enough the demo version of Acrobat X installed without any problems! I can't seem to tell if it's still in demo mode though, or if it's now active through my Cloud subscription. I guess I'll find out in 30 days.
Anyways, thank you very much for your help!
Alrighty then. Apparently the demo version isn't compatible with the Creative Cloud. The subscription I hold can't seem to figure out that I have a license for the software that I've installed. The app asked me every time I launched it if I wanted to register with my serial number or continue with my demo. Additionally there was an update to the demo version that couldn't be completed because of the same error and I now can't uninstall the demo version.
This is insane.
