I'm trying to have a HTTP live video stream into a SWF document. My old version was no problem since I was using the flv video component to call the RTMP stream, but I upgraded my Flash Media Server license and need to use the HTTP.
The video stream URL I have to call in the SWF file is:
Anyway I can do that in Flash? Maybe by using Strobe? I'm not much of an experienced Flash artist, maybe there are AS available somewhere to do just that.
Thanks for your advice!
Here's info on live streaming over HTTP using FMS:
The HTTP live streaming already works, what I need is to have a Flash object to display that stream.
The best solution I've been told so far is to have a Flash AIR app running Strobe thru the OSMF architecture. That sounds to be the best route so far! I wish it would be as simple as a RTMP stream though.
Is that stream still live? I'm getting "StreamNotFound" from your server. I know you went back to your alternate means but if you leave a HTTP live streaming URL up I could help you better diagnose. Feel free to shoot me a private message if you want to keep the URL private.
Oh, no that URL is no longer valid. But I'm still streaming live to my website: http://www.blackflag.tv
My CDN provider announced last week that they will soon support HTTP, so I'll let them work on that and get their hands dirty. I now focus more on the content to broadcast, and less on the server management.
I don't want to break out the stream sniffers for an URL . If you want to PM me a HTTP live URL you want to get working I will see what I can do so you're ready when your CDN updates to HTTP live. It's up to you.
speedingdragon ~ Please just make a thread about the issue you're having and everyone here will try to help where they can. Personal information on the forum is against the EULA so I had to remove your e-mail. Believe me you don't want a spider adding your e-mail to a spam database.
Sv Bell ~ Ok, if you come up against the issue just post back. Good luck!
