What is the process for deactivating the CC apps on one machine, and activating them on another. I'm curious because I'm going to buy a new desktop shortly, but would like to use the apps on my current one (and a laptop) in the meantime. Thanks.

You can activate your products on two machines (one main macine and a backup) as long as they aren't being used at the same time. When you get your new machine you can install the applications and activate them. I would recommend deactivating them from your old machine as soon as possible so that you can move to another machine in the future without getting into a state where you have exceeded your allowed activations. You can deactivate by launching an application and choosing "Deactivate" from the Help menu.
