Did you check if the applications were actually installed and were they working fine?
Have you install CS6 using creative cloud?
Which OS do you have?
More information is required for further research.

Hello,
MSVCP 100.dll is Microsoft C runtime Library file, please check whether you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.
If you have installed, repair it and try to install the product.

I tried to install and get error message "this installation is forbidden by system policy. Contact your system administrator."
I am running windows 7 64 bit 16 mb ram. Single desktop computer. How do I change the system policy.

Try changing User Account Control settings. Set it as Low ( never Notify) and try to install the product.
If you face any further issues, please refer to this below link.
Check if this works.

That worked and I have been able to open all downloaded Adobe cs6 programs.
Thank you for your help. Maybe there should be a not on the download page that you have to have MS Visual C+ 2010.

Hi Slade,
Agreed with Arpit, many times error code 6 (More Details (6)) is reported due to some optional component failure which may not impact you installed product any ways. In case you want to know what exactly failed please send me your installer log file form following location and I will be more than happy to help you:
>Winx86: <Root Drive>\Program files\Common files\Adobe\Installers
>Winx64: <Root Drive>\Program files (x86)\Common files\Adobe\Installers
Thanks,
Vikas

In that case, lets remove the entire suite and then run the Cleaner Tool and re-install CS6.
