I have just purchased CS5.5 Master Collection and have successfully installed the software that I wanted to install at this time -- no problem. Before I installed Master Collection CS5.5, I uninstalled CS3 which was on the computer -- I did not deactivate it. I ran the uninstall program as instructed and it took perhaps 20 minutes to supposedly clean everything out...I was pleased. However, upon restarting the computer and going to the applications folder, it seems that all of the CS3 folders still remain, taking up room. So, I ran the clean up software to clean out those files -- they are are still there. Uninstaller and the clean up program both show that CS3 is removed, but the files remain in Applications Folder. Can I just drag these remaining CS3 folders to the trash and get rid of them that way?

Dear All -- Just looked again at the undeleted files and it seems that they no longer contain the applications, just plug ins and filters -- so I guess I won't worry about it any more. It appears Adobe Uninstaller cleared out most things, but not EVERYTHING. Thanks.
This was my experience as well. The programs are gone but the folders remain with some files. It would be helpful if that was included in the directions; Run the uninstaller, then remove the folders. I haven't found verification on this but I guess that's what I'll do.
