Error on installing Creative Cloud CS6 on OSX

Hi,

I signed up today for the new Creative Cloud CS6 and I have been unable to install any of the apps in the Adobe Application Manager. The error message I receive when I try to install any of the apps is:

Installation encountered an error. Please restart your system and try again. (15)

I restarted the system and tried again and get the same error. I downloaded the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and removed the Photoshop CS6 Beta, as well as an earlier version of Adobe Acrobat. When I try again, I still get the same error.

I have an early 2008 Mac Pro, running 10.7.3.

Please advise as I would like to get the various apps up and running. Thanks.

Have you tried downloading and installing the CS6 trials directly?  Also you may want to run the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to analyze your installation logs.

Did you restart your computer?  Did it resolve your difficulties?  You can also use the steps listed in Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5 -cs5.html to review the installation log manually.

Difficult to say.  When you installed Photoshop you have actually reinstalled the Adobe Application Manager.  You will want to still reinstall AAM from the Creative Cloud Website.  Which web browser are you using?  We need to remove the AdobeAAMDetect plug-in if it is still installed before you will be able to download AAM from the creative.adobe.com.

Please try to use a different browser and see whether it works. It shoud be working as there might be issues with the browser and please try to disable antivirus/firewalls

If you have queries regarding Creative Cloud installation and setup, you  can contact support using the below link.

    http://helpx.adobe.com/contact/

    1) Choose 'Creative Cloud' from the field 'Select Your Adobe Product'

    2) Choose the option " Download, installing and setting up" from drop down menu for the option ' Tell us what you need help with?'

That link is broken for me and sends me to a page where I get this message:

    Broken link?

    Send us an e-mail.

Which sends you to another 15 pages of drivel where in the end you can't send an e-mail, this website is a bloody nightmare.

Anyway back to the real point: this is the correct URL: http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/

I'm getting error (15) as well while trying to upgrade my CS6 master collection to the additional Creative Cloud apps but posted all this in a seperate thread already.

Bad links don't help with getting less frustrated with a latest and greatest can of bugs
