I installed Adobe Application Manager and thought I had it install Fb and AAM shows the app "installed" but there is no launch button and the app is nowhere to be found on my laptop. Is there a way to re-download and re-install?
Yes you can.
For MAC, Goto Applications->Utilities->Adobe Installers and run the uninstaller for Fb CS6
For Win, Goto Add/remove programs and run the uninstaller for Fb CS6.
You might also wanna run the Adobe Cleaner Tool and clean the applications comletely and then try re-installing Fb Cs6 from creative cloud or adobe.com
I did download the trial and it prompted me for a product key and nowhere did I see a way to unlock the trial with my CC Adobe ID. Anyway, it turned out that I had previous versions of FB installed and it didn’t like that so I deactivated and uninstalled every Adobe product I had on my PC and it finally installed from AAM. Now I have a similar problem with Acrobat X but I don’t have any previous versions installed. If I download a trial of Acrobat X how do I (and where do I) unlock the trial limitation?
What error message did you receive when you try to install Adobe Acrobat 10? You should be able to still enter your Adobe ID as discussed previously. If not you can use the trial to help discover what error messages you are receiving. Once corrected, if still needed you can remove Acrobat and then reinstall Acrobat from the Adobe Application Manager.
