Adobe Ideas has now reappeared on the app store with the ability to link to creative cloud. However this ability doesn't seem to match the instructions given! The instructions, which I presume apply to the Android version, suggest that I should be able to chose which files to upload, and this works as advertised with photoshop touch.
With Ideas I only seem to be able to sync all my files with the Cloud. Which nearly gave me a heart attack when I changed my mind as I didn't want all of them on the limited storage space (not a subscriber), deleted them off the Cloud and found they had vanished from the iPad. I've found how to restore the deleted files, thank goodness, but can't work out how to upload individual images rather than sync the whole lot.
As I have idle notes jotted and kids scribbles on Ideas, I really need to pick and chose what goes to the Cloud. Is this possible?
Also do AI files just come into Ideas as flattened images with no layers preserved? Which is pretty useless.
Thanks for the feedback. The integration with Creative Cloud currently synchronizes all your Ideas files. It is currently not possible to pick and choose which files get synchronized and which don't. It's a great feature request, however, so consider it heard.
As for importing files from Creative Cloud, Ideas currently always imports them as flattened images, treating them the same way as files imported from your camera, camera roll, Google images, or Flickr. It's another great feature request, though.
Hope that helps,
Frank
