After Effects Text Problem

Ok so I am new to after effects, but this is such a simple conlfict but I cannot figure it out. When I create a text box and write something and I want to click enter to start a new line, it goes back behind what I already wrote. It wont form a line under the text like I want it to. I want to do this >>

But I cant. Please help.

Check your settings for line spacing, baseline shift and so on. Sounds liek you set them too odd values and every line renders on top of the other.

Thanks! That helped. Maybe you could answer me this to. I switched from apple to adobe, so I used Motion 5 before this. In motion 5 you can move the key frames around on the timeline, but here, I notice that theres these little grey dots that appear, but you cant click on them. I added the blur in text effect on my text and it worked, but I wanted to speed it up. I looked, but I cant find a way to adjust the key frames.

Actually, you just need to drill down.
The fastest way to reveal all keyframes is to select desired layer and press U.

Since you're new to After Effects, I strongly recommend that you begin here are work your way through the basic getting-started materials:
"Getting started with After Effects"
Doing so will save a lot of confusion and headaches later.
