Installation Failed

I just bought the CS6 upgrade for my CS5 PS.  I bought the upgrade from the Adobe site.  Installation fails and says that the upgrae I am trying to install is not a genuine Adobe product.  I have entered the serial number exactly and it is verified.  I have no idea what to do.

you said you have purchased the upgrade , so which serial number is not genuine , CS5 or CS6 ?
