Can't download Adobe After Effects

Feb 28, 2012 2:19 AM

Tags: ##issues_unresolved ##ada_trial_download

Well, everytime I try to download it, I sign in on the Adobe Download Assistent, and it tells me that I have error 107.

I tried everything in the help guild under Solution 1, I cleared my browser, cleared out the appdata, refreshed the page, stopped my spyware protecter. It still doesn't work.

It also only does this on the Free Trial of Adobe After Effects, nothing else.

Thank you for trying to help me with this problem.

-Kyle

    Hi,

Which operating system are you using and what version?

I would suggest trying to initiate a download for a trial version of a different product from Adobe.com. Let us know if you get the same error message then.

    Hi,

Apart from spyware protector, do you have any other security software or firewall installed?

I would recommend creating a new user account with administrative privileges and trying to download the application into that account.

This is correct as long as you are using a 32-bit operating system you will be unable to download After Effects.  You need a 64-bit operating system in order to install After Effects.  The download is failing due to you not meeting the minimum system requirements.  For further information please see http://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects/tech-specs.html.
