Hi:
Looking for a solution as to why Elements 10 would crash when attempting to create a new project. When I click on the browse button to decide where to save the project - software crashes with this event log...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

There might be useful tips in this ARTICLE. It starts with setting up one's computer for PrE to work best, then goes into OS and system tune-up tips, and finally a list of links on troubleshooting.
Good luck,

Thanks Bill and John:
Before I go down the long road determining if my computer is up to the task of running this Adobe product, would it not seem logical that there is something more likely that is preventing me from browing for a folder before even loading any video or actually using the product. While the "run as admin" did not work, could there be something else along a similar line. Also - is this a rare issue - seems to be based on the forum Q&A...
Thanks again...
I am having the same issue across 5 different users. What I have found that all of the users have in common is that they also have Creative Suite 5.5 installed on the machine. So I built a new machine, installed Premiere Elements 10 and it runs fine. As soon as I install Creative Suite 5.5, it starts breaking. This happens regardless of which is installed first.
More information:
Windows 7 64-bit
W3520 @ 2.67Ghz
12GB Memory
Nvidia Quaddro 4000
And it is Design Premium that is breaking Premiere Elements. I've tried with and without admin permissions and it stills crashes.
