For years I've used Adobe Bridge to manage my library of stock images. However, now that I'm using Lightroom 4 for non-destructive editing, I'm wondering if I should let Lightroom manage everything. What say you experts?
Does your library catalog it's books so you can find them on a computer database or with cards in a box??
Seriously, Bridge doesn't really manage your files as when they are off-line it cannot see them. Lightrooms database lets you manage your files even when they are off-line. However both apps are used by many each and it will depend on how you work an your needs.
Thanks Geoff. All of my stock image files are local. I guess what I'm trying to do is incorpoorate LR4 into my workflow. I will say that Bridge seems to render much faster though. Not sure what to do. I'd be interested in hearing from other LR4 users to see what has worked best for them.
