How to install in Macbook Pro laptop?

Bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 online from Apple, received it in the mail, now attempting to install it in MacBook Pro. and put in, Disc 1 of 3, I hear the disc being played , up comes icon for the disc, but no install,  & directions said to be online, put in disc, then ''follow the onscreen prompt" WHICH NEVER SHOWED ON THE SCREEN, so how does it get installed?
