Acrobat X 10 in Creative Cloud fails install on Win7

I've just subscribed to Creative Cloud 6, and all apps apart from Acrobat X downloaded and installed correctly.

I am using Windows 7 SP1, 32 bit.  Plenty of spare disk space. 4GB memory.  Latest Windows 7 patches applied. Acrobat x does not appear in the Start menu, nor was a desktop icon installed.

I tried to install via Adobe Application Manager .  The following error messages are produced:

Exit Code: 6

Please see specific errors and warnings below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR: DW050 ... WARNING: DW066 ...

How do I get Acrobat installed?

Please help.

    Please try this. Hope this helps.

    Login with the Admin Account on your machine. Now, rename the C:\Config.Msi folder. Restart the machine and try to install Acrobat again.

    It may be possible C:\Config.Msi folder is hidden. So, un hide it first.

    Regards,

    Deepak

    Dpakch, I got almost identical errors with similar system configuration to Digital Rust, so I would like to attempt your suggestion. However I don't understand what you mean by "rename the C:\Config.Msi folder". Rename it to what?

    P.S. I have tried to install it twice, getting different error messages both times. They are included below. I MUST have a working way to print to PDF in order to deliver by deadline.

    I'm on Windows 7, 91.2 GB free on drive C, 3 GB RAM, 64-bit OS, Pentium Dual-Core 2.20GHz processor

    C:\Config.Msi folder name it something like C:\Config.Msi.older

    Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5582

    I also see few permissions error, so create a new admin account on your machine and install again.
