Is there a uninstall tool for ps elements 10 please?

May 15, 2012 11:50 PM

I installed the programme.  Had power failure and didn't install properly.  Couldn't remove at "add/remove" programme.  Now when I want to reinstall it keeps on wanting to uninstall and says couldn't find path 2343.  Don't know what to do now.  Please help

No tool.  You'll have to do it manually, as explained in this Adobe document for PSE9:

    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/manually-remove-photoshop -elements-9.html

Then run the MicroSoft Fixit to repair the entry in the Uninstall Programs:

When your computer had a power failure and improperly shut down, it left a lot of damaged files, etc.  That is why you need to use the links I provided to manually clean out the problem stuff.

Alternatively, you can use the "Contact Adobe" link at the bottom right of the forum's page to get to customer support.  During business hours you can even initiate an online chat session, and might be able to get the Adobe tech support person to connect to your computer to do the cleanup.
