Help with two features

Is there a way to permanently turn on "view layer edges" in CS6? How about a way to bring back the arrange icon that was in the menu bar in CS5?

    Hello, what do you mean by turn on "view layer edges"? do you mean the show transform controls on the move tool's option bar?

    The technology used to display the application bar has been retired. The arragne icons are now part of the view menu, the same number of clicks away. (and you could give them keyboard shortcuts)

    Before, when you had a layer selected and were using the move tool a box would be around the pixels on the selected layer. In CS6 the box is not present. To get around this, I have to go to view>show>layer edges. Is there a way to permanently turn this feature on?

    Yes, As I stated earlier, select the Move tool, and in the option bar, check "Show Transform Controls"
