Is there an easy way to import all of my Apple Aperture pix into LR4?
I'm totally new to this app with LR4 release.

I like the way Adobe's 'coordinated' its apps' interfaces (for the most part). Also, I just upgraded my CS5 to CS6 and couldn't resist getting LR4 for $99! ;-) There's basically no difference in the two apps other than how photos are filed or managed... LR4 is traditional file/folder management while Aperture takes all that detail (folders, etc.) out of the picture so-to-speak. Also, in virtually every discussion group I go into, LR seems to be the 'standard' tool for the majority of participants. At my age, the fewer app interfaces I have to deal with, the mobetta I feel. Memory's no longer my strong suit!

While I agree that Lr offers much ... you are in store for a big surprise once you hit the Slideshow and Book modules when comparing to Aperture 3 ... I think you'll come to find they are years behind ... and you'll wait many more years for them to catch up.
