You may need to turn off Open GL here is what Adobe states works
nVidia Quadro 400, 600, 2000, 4000 (Mac & Win), CX, 5000, 6000
Intel Intel HD Graphics, Intel HD Graphics P3000, Intel HD Graphics P4000
I run CS6 on an old Thinpad T43P 32 bit no OpenGL
The are some un-fixed bugs in CS6 and some new Scripting bugs introduced in CS6....
The 'Photoshop Guys' were talking about this in a recent Photoshop User TV epsiode, and they all said that they exclusively used laptops for Photoshop. It had a lot to do with the fact they are always on the road doing seminars and stuff, but they still used their laptops when they were at home, and said they have no performance issues. They all seem to use Apple laptops.

A pretty good free resource btw. There was a nice tip from Matt Kloskowski in (I think Episode 300) He was running through his ACR workflow, and something I didn't know was that you can put the screen into Threshold mode using the Alt/Opt keys while dragging the Whites and Blacks sliders. Just like you can with Levels. The other thing that was new to me was using negative values of Clarity with the Adjustment brush to smooth skin. He applies it to the whole face at -100% then erases it from eyes etc., then fine tunes the clarity setting. I thought that was a cool trick.
