I am trying to download applications but the app manager is stuck in a foreign language. I change the language to english (north american) in the preferences but the software is still in Danish or something like it. Tried reinstalling the app manager and still in Danish.

    Hi Mike,

In which preference are you changing the language? System Preferences or Adobe application Manager pereferences?

    Regards,

    Hi Mike,

If you set the language preference to english inside the application manger, regardless of text language(UI language of Adobe Application Manager), it will only install products in english. The language of the UI picked from system preferences and will change once you change language from there as well.

    Regards,

    Anirudh

The Correction to that can be done by this way too - The Error was something like this

    Error-lang in CCM.JPG

    On Mac -

    Applications > utilities > AdobeApplicationManager>CCM>assets>EULA>

now remove the folder you are suspecting it to be ON the language and re re-run the application.

It will ask you to reset the language at the EULA Screen.

    Choose English

This is really annoying. The language refuses to be set to English regardless of what settings I change. Removing the language files Nitin, even though I have reset the language *AGAIN* it now reads in Portuguese.

If the user interface is in the incorrect language here is how to fix it on the Mac, in this case setting the user interface languge to English :

    1. Open the Mac OS X System Preferences and in the Personal strip at thetop click on Language & Text.
    2. On the Language tab click on the 'Edit ListŠ' button and uncheck all languages other than English.
    3. Download the Adobe Application Manager from here http://www.adobe.com/applicationmanagerpatch/index.html and reinstall it.

The user interface should now be in English.

You can confirm the Install language by clicking on your Name in the top left. In the drop-down menu choose Preferences. See that the language field is set to 'English (North America)'. If not you can change it. The scroll bar on the right is small but you can use the up and down arrow keys to navigate too.

    What I did was:

    Navigate to Applications > utilities > AdobeApplicationManager>CCM>ZStringResources>

Delete every folder except en_US and the file FontCustomization.xml.. or you can option delete the folder you expect. ( e.g: pl_BR )

    Restart App
