multi-frame render

May 16, 2012 1:24 AM

One other thing i've noticed... i can't seem to get the multi-core rendering to go in CS6.  It's set the same way as in CS5.5 but it's one at a time...  anything i might be missing?

I have 6 GB for other applications

24 CPUs

8 saved for other apps

3GB per background CPU

4 CPUs acutally used.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Same as in your otehr question: Read my blog post. When using fast preeviews or combinations of GPU accelerated features, MP rendering simply will be sneakily disabled behind your back.

Check the system requirements. Only cards listed there support GPU raytrace stuff. Normal fast previews using OpenGL should work on other cards as well, though.
