Custom components in modules

Situation

 

Flex SDK version - 4.5A

Flash Builder version - Flash Builder 4.0

 

Currently trying to implement and utilise a reusable CustomComponent library project for use in an Application with multiple modules.

 

This CustomComponent library project has all the associated design.xml and manifest.xml along with the compiler options set up.

 

 

Problem

 

Simply put, I cannot in any way get the custom components and associated skins to work within a module.

 

Currently my only option is to create an instance in the main application. This simply isn't a viable option, custom components are the bread and butter of delivering RIAs and utlising modules is critical for delivery for corporate clients.

 

Is there something fundamental that I am completely overlooking?
