I did something rash but hope there is an easy solution. I purchased the subscription to CS6 and most everything works except Illustrator. I had the Web Design Premium CS5.5 Digital version and uninstalled it thinking that Adobe was going to fix the Mac launch problem soon but so far it hasn't. So that's my fault. My question is, since Adobe replaces all downloads with the latest CS version, where can you find previous CS versions to download if you only had the digital version?
I suppose it was probably my responsibility to make a backup (which I can restore from Time Machine) but does Adobe let you have access to previous versions if all you purchased was a digital version?
Thanks!
Scratch the Time Machine method. I've been restoring bits and pieces from the Application Support library area and still have not been able to get Illustrator CS 5.1 to run.
Still looking out for the installer. God forbid I'd have to search for a *gasp* torrent of it, but it may end up that way even though I have a legit serial number.
When I try to launch CS6 on my Mac I get the error "Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened" and it quits. There are a few others with the same problem here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/999801?tstart=0
I opened the Download Assistant but it's not obvious where to download owned products. I'll keep poking around the account area on Adobe.com but couldn't find anything initially. Thanks!
Found it! I was looking in My Products and not My Orders.
