Bad association of file types

With Photoshop CS 6 the desktop does not recognize me and allows me to assign the correspondence file. For example, if I double click on a .psd file nothing happens. If I reconnect the program Photoshop to psd file manually, does not recognize it (as if I had not made ​​the selection). While Adobe Photoshop CS6 Bridge point for each matching file, the associates, but when I do a Bridge by double-clicking it, I go into Photoshop without opening the file.

 

This means that I can no longer be Indesign edit a file with a simple click, but I have to go find the file at all times and I can only find it in Photoshop with a huge waste of time!

    In Bridge click edit>preferences>startup scripts.  Do you have check marks for at least Bridge and Photoshop?

    In Bridge click edit>preferences>file type associations.  Scroll down to .psd does it have CS6 as the default?

    Yes, not only for psd files, but all others as raw jpeg (etc.). Except that here I had to set them manually, as I said earlier.

    In Photoshop click edit>preferences>performance.  Were do you have the slider set for memory usage?

     

    Perhaps you are starving your computer for memory by giving too much for photoshop.

     

    You need at least 2 gigs for the computer so unless you have more than 8 gigs of RAM the setting should be less than 70 percent.

    But the association between files and applications should be made even if the application is closed. There can be no relationship between the settings of the program and the fact that InDesign or the OS can open the specific program.

    I solved it by cleaning the registry. If anyone should have the same problem that I solved.
