Can the video be included in the swf export?

May 17, 2012 3:52 PM

Hi,

I would like to have the .flv video file included in the .swf export so that it's not a separate file being referred to by the swf.  Rather, I would like to end up with just a single file containing everything related to the project, including the video component.  Is there a setting in Captivate 5.5 to do that?

Thanks,

Glenn

FLV video files are always externalized in Captivate 5.5.

I'm assuming your published content is intended for web delivery?

    Hello,

I have tried this before, and from my experience I could say that indeed this is doable.

I just imported the video (.flv) and embed it into my flash project.

I have done this especially when publishing projects (from Captivate) as an EXE file. Just make sure that your video's bitrate matches that of your flash and also with your Captivate project.

    Miguel
