Pink/purple pixels in clipped highlights only in 16 and 32bpc

Hello all,

 

I put my color space in 16bpc and the clipped highlights show pink/purple pixels. i thought they were just warning, but when I render them out, they show up still. They don't show in 8 bpc. i tried other projects I have, but with teh same result. After effects CS5.5 Picture is attached.

    Yes, your compressed footage is not correctly being expanded to higher bit depths. Apply a Compander effect to compensate.

    Ah yes. DNxHD could be problematic. Make sure to download the latest version from Avid. They fixed it in on of the recent versions, if I'm not mistaken.
