deleting files from android

May 17, 2012 4:32 PM

I received a reply on this however when I tap and hold it does not do anything except shows me a copy icon in the centre of the tablet. I have tried other methods to delete and also when I want to read this it asks me for a password. Then when I open it then try to delete it tells me it is protected. Anyone with any ideas of how I can get rid of this?

Thanks

    Hi,

Could you please share a screencapture of the issue you’re seeing?  You could email it at adobereader-android@adobe.com

    Thanks,

    Gaurav

    Hi Lindsay,

Thanks for the screenshots! I think I understand the problem. You can delete a file in the Documents view, but not from the document itself.

In the upper left corner of one of your screenshots, you will see a "Home" button. That will take you to the Recent file list. The Recent file list has a row labeled "Documents". If you tap Documents, this will take you to the Documents view. From there, you should see a list of documents on your SD card and internal memory. In this Documents list, you can long press on the document name and an option to delete will appear.

    Hope this helps.

    Pat
