Also, have you Copied the full folder structure to your HDD, or just the MTS files? You want the full folder structure.
Please explain why you need the full AVCHD file system structure over just the MTS file.
With many formats these days, the audio and video are not necessarily saved as one file. You might have audio and video seperately, as well as other "MXF" data that describes the footage, date recorded, camera used, etc. and ALL of this info is needed for Premiere to import and process your video properly. If you try to just pick out the video clips from your folders, you might be missing critical parts when it gets to Premiere.
As mentioned, copy EVERYTHING over to your hard drive, and then also in Premiere, use Media Browser to import the clips you want. This will better interpret the footage properly for the above mentioned reasons, it digs through the folders for you and finds what it needs. Works better than "Import" alone.

You say you are 14, so I will guess you do not drive an automobile... but when you do, you will most likely find that the oil filter from a Fiat will not fit a Mercedes, even though they both filter oil
No two brands/models of cameras are exactly the same... there is no "But the movies from my" in this case... you asked, and were given the answer
Have you tried the advice you were given by Jeff?
