Editing a previously created form

I created a fillable form in Acrobat Pro X and saved it enabling user rights to save.  I am now unable to edit this form.  It treats me like I am a user -- or gives me the option to distribute.  Is it because of the way I saved it enabling user rights?  Can I reverse this somehow so that I can continue to edit the form?  I tried saving another copy of the form, but it didn't help any.

Thanks for help!

You should alsways save a copy of the form before Reader-enabling it. But you cna get it back by selecting: File > Save a Copy

If you distributed it, there's more work to be done to remove a number of things that it adds to the document, some of which are hidden.
