I'm using Dreamweaver CS6 and every time I try to pick a color using the Color Picker Sliders, it doesn't save it, have any of you encountered this issue ? Is there a way to fix this ?

Thanks!

Works fine for me with CS6 on Vista.

Click in an empty box on left. Select a color from slider, hit "Add to Custom" button. Hit OK.

    Which OS are you using?

What steps are you taking that don't work?

Are you running OS X Lion 10.7.4 (May 09, 2012)?

I get the same issue, most of the time it seems to work, but last night I selected a CSS style by double clicking it, I needed to make the background colour lighter so I selected System Color Picker and then chose Color Sliders followed by HSB Sliders.

Adjusted sliders to required colour, clicked OK and... nothing... The colour selected did not change in the selector box.

Selecting default colour, transparent or a colour from the main colour picker works. But using the Color picker Sliders does not work at all.

Anyone know of a fix for this?

I ended up screen capturing the colour, loading into Fireworks and sampling the colour, Have now added digital color meter so I can use this while I await a fix.

I am running Mac OSX Snow Leopard on an iMac, will try later on my MBP

Feel free to officially report it as a bug, if you believe it to be one

    Thanks, have filled this in

I should say that I have filled these in several times in the past for other issues and have never to date received a response.

    Fingers crossed!

You will never receive a response so don't expect one. They doubtless get hundreds of these forms submitted each day from users globally across the entire range of products.

The purpose of the form is simply to alert Adobe to the existence of a purported bug or requested new feature.

By submittng a form, all that's guaranteed is that Adobe engineers will read it (they assure us that they read official bug report submissions) so it's better than wishful thinking and crossing your fingers in a forum.
