cs5 freezes on initializing mediacore

after effects cs5 freezes on initializing mediacore...pleasehelp...i have through tons of stuff online on solvin the issue done all of them and nothing worked in my case. and i have been using cs5 for sometime on my pc...am using windows 7,64bit..and have xilisoft video conerter installed..if it might help...i usind the cs cleaner tool ....removed quicktime, quit qt32server...plus the opposite..i logged in with another account same issue......and i have installed and reinstalled appropriately like a dozen times.....please help......

Have you flushed the media cache? If not, try that. Also trash the prefs. Other than that I'm not sure what to advise, but perhaps your system event viewer may provide some details abouzt those crashes.

totally if you r refering to C:\Users\paulmmoja\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\10.0\...yes i have already tried that out...and more from some of your answers to other community members...but .how do i use the event viewer to get more details on the issue.....
