The serial number in my account is, according to customer service, valid, but it does not validate.
Hello Adobe employee 3.vselwyn. Here's the thing.
I buy a subscription to Creative Cloud. I download Photoshop CS 6. It asks me for a serial number, despite being logged in with my Adobe ID. I go and get the serial number in 'My products' and I input it.
I get the message from Adobe software that the serial number provided by Adobe is invalid.
Please can you, or your line manager sort it out.
Now. Or sooner. Thank you.

Buzz,
I had the same problem, reported it, and did not get what I considered a satisfactory response.
Photoshop, however, continued to operate. I have been asked for my registration number only once since then, but I think it was for a different piece of software in the suite, perhaps Dreamweaver.
I think what we're seeing is a bug in how the registration process gets handled in the creative cloud service. If PSCS6 continues to perform as it should, which mine has, I would just ignore it.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for that very kind of you. I've relaunched numerous times it's
still asking for a number. Apart from the unnecessary irritation, my
concern is that it could lock up at say day 30, just as I have a job to
deliver to a client, and Adobe is saying, sorry, no agents available
Will keep fingers crossed and hope Adobe get back to me.
Thanks again.
Hi,
I had the same problem. What i did was:
1. uninstalled alle the new adobe programs.
2. Clear my browser.
3. Put the language in the install manager to English (international)
4. Restarted computer.
4. Check if install manager was still English (international) , yes.
5. Installed apps one by one. And checked one by one.
Now I have installed 5 apps and they are all good without asking serial.
It seems to be a problem with the language settings of your computer and the language
of the adobe apps. They have to be the same I think.
Hope this helps!
