I am trying to install flash player. It says that i need to turn off internet exployer. How do you turn off internet exployer?

Download the appropriate installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-pla yer-windows.html#install_in_a_firewall_proxy_server_environment and save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.

Note that you must also close any messenger applications, Skype, etc.
