Can you please provide the values that you are trying to enter in the Adminui?

should be like :

hostname: sharepoint.sp.com:80

username: domain\username

password: <password>

domain: sp.com

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried again using various different settings and it's now saving successfully!

The problem was that I had put the full URL to the site collection using a managed path in the hostname box (intranet-dev.client.com/sites/mysitecollection)

I have tried creating a new web application and site collection without using a managed path, and the settings have now saved successfully.

Now everything is hooked up I am trying to see the SharePoint integration feature and understand how it works.

Having activated the features in the site collection I have gone to the Adobe Forms Library and created a new item, in which I have referenced the following sample form: "Applications/Samples - EndToEnd Mortgage Application/1.0/Forms/Thankyou.xdp".

This creates a new list in my site.

When I go to the new list and try to add a new item, I am expecting to see a copy of the form I referenced - right?

Instead I get the following:

Error

java.lang.Exception: Following Errors detected [Invocation error.]. Cause [ALC-REP-013-000: Value [] is not valid for parameter [resourceUri].]; nested exception is:

Any suggestions?

Have you entered the required values in Site Settings ==> LiveCycle Settings after installation of Web Part for LiveCycle ES3 connector on your SharePoint Server.

Please follow the instructions according to your platform for installation of the connector :-

Hi , thanks for the help.

I have got the settings filled in correctly as follows:

Hostname: (server name)

Port name: 8080

User Name: administrator

Password: password

Enable Https: not selected (I'm not using HTTPS)

I'm still getting the same error when trying to view a form. If I enable logging to the Event Log then the following item gets added when I try to view a form:

AdobeLCFormsIntgr.NewFormRedirect### Following Error occured while Invoking LiveCycle Process: java.lang.Exception: Following Errors detected [Invocation error.]. Cause [ALC-REP-013-000: Value [] is not valid for parameter [resourceUri].]; nested exception is:

java.lang.Exception: Following Errors detected [Invocation error.]. Cause [ALC-REP-013-000: Value [] is not valid for parameter [resourceUri].]

For Testing Forms Integration with SharePoint you should follow these steps:-

1.) Open Adminui in a browser and go to Services ==> Applications and Services ==> Applications Management.

2.) Click on import, and browse for the livecycle archive <LiveCycle_ES3_Install_Directory>/deploy/adobe-formintegrationformssh arepoint.lca.

3.) Click on Peview and then on Import.

4.) Choose the below two applications and deploy them:-

SharepointFormIntegrationAppPDF

SharepointFormIntegrationApp

After this, you will be able to see three more xdp's in the drop down dialog when you click on new button inside 'Adobe Forms Library'. You can use these for this purpose.

Hi, Thanks for the suggestions. I have imported those two applications, and used the Forms Library to create two new lists referencing them.

When I try to add a new item to either list I get the same error message:

That shouldn't have happened now. Are you still trying to use the XDP Thankyou.xdp. Please use the one that is imported with the sample.

Please make your screen look like the above, give it a name and hit Create. You shouldn't face this issue. If you still face this issue. Please provide the LiveCycle server logs.
