I am currently having a problem with some of my object states disappearing when uploading folio's to view on the iPad. I have not come across this problem before, the object states seem to work fine in indesign and when tested on the desktop viewer. Once I have uploaded the folio's to the folio builder and downloaded it to the iPad many of the object states appear to be missing.
I have the latest tools and have been using dps since september and have never come across this problem before.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this may be happening?
if you're on v20 of the tools and the producer then if you plug in your iPad, make sure the adobe content viewer is open (on the iPad) in the folio builder panel the "Preview" option should have a drop down and it should say "Preview on "your iPad's name"
if you're using v19 tools then you can use phonedisk
it's all on page 75 of the DPS help pdf
What do the object states contain? if you can let that information go?
It's just we've been having trouble with certain images not loading properly - which is apparently a glitch/bug that was supposed to be fixed in CS6 - that hasn't been!
Which version of indesign have you been using? I've experienced a few memory related problems with the software when it comes to image formats and MSOs. Have you tried starting a new document, rebuilding it and seeing if it still happens.
I'm experiencing the same problem.
I have a document with about 20 pages, which show the same two-state objects. In InDesign I can change correctly between the two states on all pages.
However when I open the folio on the ipad some of these objects - although copy+pasted - are missing completely. Some pages later the objects appear correctly. It seems totally random and only happens in the horizontal view.
On the Destop Preview of that file however I experience that the "buggy" pages show the second state without the ability to switch to first with the transparent button.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet?
