Launch extension from menuItem

Hello there,

 

I have created an extension for InDesign whose lifecycle is set to "applicationActivate". Through this extension I have added the menuItem "Lauch extension" in InDesign. When I launch the InDesign application the extension is opened then after if I close this (with 'x' on panel), it gets closed. I wanted to launch same extension using the menuItem "Lauch extension". Please suggest any way to achieve this.

    If anybody know about the solution please help me as early as possible. I am stucked with this problem.
