Hi,
I am putting together an iPad app and have set the hyperlinks in both the H and V files within InDesign but when I put into folio builder/Articles and add h layout then add v layout, it all views ok and the horizontal layout hyperlinks work but not the vertical. Can anybody please help?
Thanks!
Brian
Hi Tim,
Thanks for your response!
No I didn't copy the link, I re-inserted. The links work fine when the file is set to a vertical only app but when I load the vertical files to a V/H layout in folio builder (CS6) the file will rotate/view fine and the horizontal hyperlinks work ok but not the vertical hyperlinks.
How the same hyperlinks are set in both H & V as follow, do they seem correct to you?
Horizontal - navto://Mozobil_MM_patient_intro_H
Vertical - navto://Mozobil_MM_patient_intro_V
Cheers!
Brian
Brian -
Make sure you did not cut and paste a link tagged as a Shared Hyperlink Destination.
If you hover over the non-working link in the hyperlinks panel...see if there is a reference to the document name of the alternate layout immediately preceding the "navto://"
If so then you have picked up a Shared Destination.
Delete the existing link and recreate it without tagging it as a shared resource.
You can then copy and paste from one doc to another...just as long as the link remains un-tagged as a shared resource
