I have been working with two Templates for two separeate sites in CS5.5 and both the templates and sites are the same, somehow my templates quit working due to me deleting a file on my webserver that I thought was a duplicate, they restored my "sites" and still I have the same problem if I edit my template and hit save it will not update my files that use the template.  Can anybody PLEASE take the time and try to help me figure out why my templates are there but will not update all my 192 pages after I edit the template.  PLEASE HELP me.. I know it will take you more than 2 minutes to figure out. But the satisfaction of fixing a problem will compensate for the time?  And I will thank you forever.  If you know the template thing please help me look at his.  Im blue in the face.

here are the two sites

www.sub-zero-refrigeration.com

Thank sooo much anybody who is willing to help me.

I have to go to bed right now, but if you can please help me let me know.  I can send you back ups, zips and anything to help figure this out.  here is my persona email  tedandpatiwagner@yahoo.com.

<if I edit my template and hit save it will not update my files that use the template>

Does Dreamweaver give you a prompt asking if you want to update child pages?

Did you upload all child pages to your remove server?

What I am thinking is the cityweather.dwt template is in the wrong folder?

Yes.  DW's default folder for all Templates is the local site's Templates folder.  When you make a template the first time, DW creates this folder for you.  If you move or rename template file/folders, it WON'T work.

    Local Files

    - SITE - SiteName (C:\SiteName)

         -Templates

              cityweather.dwt

         +Images

         +Styles

         +Scripts

         index.html

If I highlighted all my images and got them or dragged them from the webserver to my images folder would that create another image folder in the image folder?  If that sounds like what may have happend then I am pretty sure thats what happened?  HMM.

That's sounds about right.   When bringing site files from remote to local site, all you need to do is click the main site folder and hit GET (down arrow).  DW intuitively copies remote files & folders to your local site.
