Show/Hide Images from Master Page Buttons

I am trying to put 2 buttons on my master page (6 page form) to show or hide form instructions regardless of the page.  The image is also on the master page, named myImage (tried to modify great solution found here - http://forums.adobe.com/message/3191805) with no luck.

But I don't think I'm referencing it right.  What I want to happen is for the image to not appear when pdf opens (it's set to invisible), but no matter what page you're on, if you click the 'show instructions' it would pop up to the front of the form, then it can be closed by the 'hide' button.

Maybe there is a better way to do this, am open to ideas.  Am needing the show/hide buttons to work, and also, when the image does show up when I make it visible, it seems transparent, what am I doing wrong?

Link to sample pdf is here: https://acrobat.com/#d=avPu8KPgyFbuZNBjJJM8mg

Thank you for any help.

Still nowhere on this, not sure what I'm doing wrong, but if a better way is out there, or if someone could help me understand what I've got wrong in my referencing, that would be appreciated.  Otherwise, my other option will be a message box, but that is the least desired because of limited formatting and limited knowledge on my part.  Thank you for any help!

Well it only took a year to get a response so you have probably moved on. However I would gladly take a look at your form if the link worked.

Thank you.  I went back to the original link I posted where I was trying to modify the solution, and used Niall's sample and was able to get a modified show/hide working, but only recently, as I had to move on to other projects at the time.  Thank you for checking back on this.
