1 gb ram

I have only 1 gb ram memory -- wanted to download elements photo and video but video appears to require 2 gb ram.  Will video editing be useless for some features  (like for HD videos) but still have some functionality or should I stick to video?

    I would not recommend less than 4 gigs of RAM to run this program, aktracie. I'd also recommend at least 20-30 gigs of free, clean, defragmented space on your C drive in order for the program to operate stably.
