How to render and export

hello everyone

 

im using PrPro CS6. im having mutiple issues

 

I rendered my whole video, there is no red render bars but i have some green . Every time export it you tube template. I see " ERROR COMPILING VIDEO- UNKNOWN ERROR".

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING. PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE

    There's the problem with an Unknown Error.  I'm afraid we aren't diviners capable of simply "knowing" what the problem is even when the software itself doesn't know.

    This is my second day with prpro cs6. i have spent 4 hours on this project and so frustrated that why did i make this mistake to use prpro cs6 on edius 6.

    Yeah, that really sucks when you get a shiny new toy and it doesn't work right.  We've all been there.

     

    Try a few things, like different export settings, a new project, remove the effects, etc.  Maybe you can isolate the issue and work around it.

    2. IT IS UPDATED TO LATEST UPDATE

    3. WINDOW 7 64 BIT

    4. SOURCE FOOTAGE MXF FILES FROM CANON XF 305 CAMERA AT 1920 BY 1080 30P 50MBPS

    5.ERROR COMPILING MOVIE - UNKNOWN ERROR

    6. I WAS EXPORTING THE PROJECT TO H.264 YOU TUBE UPLOAD

    7. NO  THIRD PARTY EFFECTS JUST THE ONE FROM PR PRO CS6

    8. NO MERCURY PLAYBACK

    9 ONLY WHEN EXPORTING

    Make sure you don't have a one-frame gap between any clips, these can be invisible until you zoom in closer

    Hi Jeff

    On my last two clips I inserted a video transition and I received a message saying not suffiecnt space frames will be repeated. So I separated the clip with small gap and inserted a transition in the gap. I hope this is causing the issue. Thank you I will try to export it again.

    You went the wrong way.  Instead of separating the clips for the transition, you need to overlap them to make it work.

    Most likely that it is then. You need to trim the end of first clip and beginning of next clip, then butt them together, so there is "overlap", or extra frames available for the transition between the clips. One way to do this is to put the mouse pointer on the end of the clip and then press CTRL key, bracket will change then you can trim end of clip with a Ripple Edit (everything after moves as you adjust). Quucikly trim ins and outs this way so you can add transition

    Hi Jeff

    I overlapped my last two clips and inserted a transition between them. Exporting did go upto 75% and error compiling came again.

    For those Clips, you have too few Frames, past the Out Point, or before the In Point. Those are called Handles. This ARTICLE will go into more detail.

    I rendered and export just this part (in picture) this is what causing the problem. But now i dont know how to insert tranition since it has no handles. and how to create handles. please help. Thanks

    You can not transition between two clips if there are no frames to make the transition with.  eg "Handles"

     

    You can not make  "handles" but you can make your in and out points on the clips at a different place  so as you have spare overlap frames ( which become the handles).

     

    The Transition effect uses these spare frames to build the effect

    This is been a week now I'm struggling with this problem. I just cant export it. I even overlapped the clips, no transtiion but same thing is happening error compling movie.

    SOULTION for others who are in same situation:

     

    First update your software to the latest update.

    I believe you have more than one clip.

    Make sure you don't have a one-frame gap between any clips, these can be invisible until you zoom in closer

    At the end and begining of the clip you should have little grey triangle shape.

    They are called handles, meaning extra space at end point and at begining. Usaually for transition.

    If you dont see it on both clips (as in picture above) then the one clip which is misiing need to be trimed little or more until handles disappear or some time you see full triangle (as in picture).

    Do same if there are more.

    Then just try to export the ending where clips attach each other.

    Set in and out points as I did in the picture above.

    Export and make sure to choose sequence in and out setting.

     

    I hope it works. I dont use this software anymore. I had a trail version. Used for two weeks. Every day same problem then finally figured it out and moved back to Edius 6. Thanks
