Hi all,

I am getting this trying to install CS5.5.

Note:

I've installed Java. Air. Flash.

I've used the Adobe CS Cleanup Tool.

Repaired permission.

Removed the colorsync preferences etc.

Removed all my Adobe Preferences that i know of.

Been trying for 2 days, any ideas much appreciated.

cheers

Can you please elaborate on how are you trying the run the installer? I mean whether you are running from disk or local copy of installer, using EDT or by double clicking the Install.app.

I'm getting a similar, if not the exact same, problem.

I am attempting to run Adobe Design Premium CS5.5_Install.pkg. After I click "install," in a minute or two the installation will fail. I've attached an excerpt of my installation log below.

I am running Mac Lion 10.7.3 on a 15-inch late 2011 Macbook Pro. I would appreciate any help on figuring this out.

Can you please provide complete installer logs. The logs excerpt you have copied does tell that uninstallation has failed - which is because nothing has installed on machine.

To debug the cause of installation failure, we need to know why has installation failed? for that please search for exit code above this exit code in same installer logs. that exit code will tell why installation has failed.

    thanks,

    Rahul, Adobe Systems

I read through the install logs and found out that the installation kept failing because a browser was open.
