when I publish a power point with comments it stops

May 22, 2012 2:04 AM

Hi!

I am creating a Power Point that I comment with my voice. The problem is that when I open the flash video that creates Captivate, it stops between every slide and wait for me to click to the play button to go to the next slide. Is it any way to play the video without these stops?

Which option did you choose when importing the PPT: automatic advance or advance by user?

Do you see click boxes on the timeline?

    That's correct.

Quoting from my e-book about troubleshooting Captivate 5x

"If you have verified that there is no click box or button to pause the PPT slide in Captivate, yet it still insists on pausing at playback, then the other possible cause is that this PPT slide has a custom animation that specifies the pause.  To remove the pause in this case requires that you edit the PPT slide to change the animation behavior.  You can either do this in the original linked PPT presentation and re-import, or else do round-trip editing in Captivate by right clicking on the slide and selecting Edit with Microsoft Powerpoint from the context menu."
