SWF to EXE

I've downloaded a program for turning my swf files into exe that allows me to have a icon and title. BUT I have one project that I use the ShareObject to write data and after using this program the data will not write out. Released using the Projector (exe) and it writes the data fine. But there is no way for me to change the icon or title within the projector (exe) file.

Does anyone have a suggestion on an inexpensive piece of software that can allow data to be written if an exe is made?

THANKS for your time.

I thought you can easily create an exe file if you are using adobe flash? and for Icons and title, you can manually create using notepad and save the file extension into .ini format?

Here's a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SWF2EXE_software, there are also some free so you can try.

You could also say what application did you use, maybe someone knows workaround or at least it will be warning for generations to come to avoid it.

FYI - you can use the icon program AXIcons to open .exe files and replace the icons.
