frozen pics

Post importing , unable to open the pictures in Pse9 Organiser- I'm using Windows Vista. All I see is the hourglass. I need help. Thanks.

    Try increasing the size of the thumbnails by adjusting the slider.

    I appreciate your reply. I tried, when I increase the size they open up and

    they go back to the hourglass. This is in only one album of about 70 pics.

    The others are fine.I have repaired the catalogue and optimised it without

    much benefit. It's just frustrating. Pl. let me know if you have any

    thoughts.

    Are there any video files in that album?  If so, remove those video files.

     

    Another thing to try is using Edit...Preferences...Media Analysis to disable all analysis functions.

    Nope, it did'nt work. I tried to import new pics, which will not open in

    thumbnails unless I open them to full size.

    Tonight as nothing worked, I deleted and reinstalled pse9. Well, still the

    same story. I imported a few new pics, and they also do not open unless I

    increase the size of the thumbnail to almost the max.

    What are the file types, and how large are the files?  (If they're over 50Mb each, Organizer has trouble with them.)
