Help with connection for PSE collage showing

I need to show a photo collage on what I guess is a little bit older televsion, but it's a big screen and hopefully I can make this work. I'm trying to put together a collage of photos for an anniversary party using photoshop elements 8. My parents have an area for cables to have front access on their television (with the video s cable and audio video input cords.) I have a Dazzle cord which I hoped would help translate but I am not sure.

 

Is there any hope for this to work? My husband is a little more tech - savy, but we want to avoid buying an expensive cord which will only be used once...

 

We bought this Dazzle (Pinnacle) software years ago hoping to convert some videos to DVD. I put the software on an external hard drive and also have that cord along with the software on DVD. Still, when I put that software "Quick Start Up Disc" in my computer, it asks for a serial number which is on my "cellophane wrapper." Yikes. That isn't fair right now, is it? Anything anyone can tell me with some accurate advice would be appreciated. The party is this Saturday.
