The Download Error occurs in the Adobe Application Manager. I attempt to download a program and I get, "Download Error, please retry (which I have done several times) or contact customer support (which hasn't been easy). Error 403...

Succesfully was able to log in to AAM and start download after removing following folders from System level Application Support, quitting InDesign CS6 then relogging into creative.adobe.com.

Sorry. That did not help I cannot find that location on my computer, I

checked all Adobe folders. I checked the windows folder. I checked all Temp

folders I came across. I even did a search for the location using the

windows search option. I cannot find that location. I think it will be

easier to phone???

In MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows, the temporary directory is set by the environment variable TEMP. Originally, the default was c:\Temp, then %Windows%\Temp. In the XP era, the temporary directory was set per-user as Local Settings\Temp, although still user-relocatable. For Windows Vista, 7 & 8 the temp location has moved again to within the AppData section of the User Profile typically C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Temp. In all versions of Windows the temp location can be accessed, for example in Explorer, Run... boxes and in application's internal code by using %temp%, as with other environmental variables it is synonymous with the full path.

I managed to get assistance from Support.

They had me DL the trial version of my product outside of https://creative.adobe.com/apps bypassing application manager.

Install, log-in and and activate.

Support indicated Adobe is working on the Application manager issue.

Having the same issue. I've read all the post. First I wasn't able to install the creative cloud app because it failed and no service response. I then downloaded CS6 Master Collection without AAM and installed. No problems with the install, but update through Photoshot, InDesign, and Illustrator fails because 'server is not responding'. I tried dloading AAM independently it installed but now I get the 403 error. Acrobat X was able to update without a problem though.

I did the steps as mentioned in other post. I can connect to secure sites no problem from my home network on a one month old Win7 x64 laptop. The only firewall is the windows one and I checked it and saw no entries for Adobe. This seems to be a very wide spread problem with no clear solutions.
