    Hi,

Could you please let me know the following details:

    1. The version of Adobe Reader on your system. You can get the same by clicking on Help > About Adobe Reader from within the Reader application.

    2. The OS you are working on.

    3. Does this issue happen with all the PDFs? Can you try the following and see if you face the same issue:

    http://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Acrobat_Reader_Rel easeNote_10.1.3.pdf

    4. Do you have Adobe Acrobat also installed on your system?

    Thanks

    Ankit

    Thanks for providing the information.

    1. You can get the information about your OS by right clicking on My Computer and clicking on Properties. The OS information will be under the System section.

    2. Can you try and see if the following checkbox is checked or not under the Reader Internet preferences (Edit > Preferences > Internet).

    "Display PDF in browser"

    3. Are you able to launch and save the PDFs on your local disk on the standalone Reader application ?? Or are you facing the issue here as well?

If you are able to view the PDFs on your local system properly then please try and launch the same PDFs in IE. Does this work without any issues?

    Hi,

The option to check the "Display PDF in browser" can be found in Adobe Reader Preferences. Open Adobe Reader > Edit > Preferences > Internet.

    4. I'm not sure how to open a pdf I have on my system in IE. Can you advise

    please?

To do this, open IE and navigate to File > Open. Traverse to the folder location wherein you have a PDF saved on your machine, and chose to open the same.

Can you please give me the URL of the PDF file that you're having problem with?  I'll see if I can reproduce the problem on my end.  Thanks!
